The CLI's source now lives in the private mergify-ci-integrations, where it is built and released; this repository keeps what users fetch from it: install.sh, the agent skills and the releases. Their checks can't rely on building the binary here any more, so they move to the binary people actually get, the latest release's: - `skills`: scripts/check-skills.py, ported from the CLI's skill_references.rs and widened from the merge-queue skill to all six: each skill's front matter names it and describes it, the merge-queue skill keeps its required sections, and every `mergify <group> <subcommand>` a skill mentions exists in `--list-native-commands`. - `install-script-release`: install.sh against the latest release's real binaries and SHA256SUMS, served from a local fixture, on Linux, macOS and Windows, plus the wrong-hash and malformed-line SHA256SUMS cases that must fail closed. Both join ci-gate. They run next to the source-based jobs for now; those go with the source in the next change. Tested locally against the real releases: the skill check passes on 2026.10.1 and on the 2026.10.3 build, and fails on a made-up `mergify stack frobnicate`; the install job's steps install 2026.10.1 and refuse both tampered SHA256SUMS.
