@Mergifyio rebase |
The CLI is developed, built and released from Mergify's private monorepo since 2026-10-06; every release is mirrored here. This repository keeps what it publishes, and stops carrying a copy of the source: - Kept: install.sh, skills/, the plugin manifests and assets/, the README, the issue tracker and the releases. These files are now published from the CLI's source (cli/ in the monorepo) by ci-bot's public-releases-sync, through a mergify-ci-bot pull request at each release. - Removed: the Rust workspace (crates/, Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock, rust-toolchain.toml, clippy.toml, deny.toml) and pyproject.toml; RELEASING.md and the releasing skill under .claude/; the release workflows (build-wheels.yml, release.yml and the .github/release.yml notes config), which would otherwise still release the CLI from here and collide with the shared YYYY.M.N versions; func-tests-live.yaml; and the source-based CI jobs (rust, msrv, cargo-deny, wheels, smoke-test-binary, install-script-smoke, self-update-smoke), now run in the monorepo. .gitignore only ignored target/. - New `synced-files` CI check: a pull request editing the published files fails unless it comes from mergify-ci-bot, since the next sync would overwrite the edit. - CI keeps typos, skills and install-script-release, and adds synced-files, under ci-gate, so the merge protections are unchanged. - renovate.json drops its Cargo rules; _typos.toml keeps only the one word the README needs. - AGENTS.md now describes the shell: which files are published from the CLI's source and must not be edited here, what this repository owns, and what CI checks. The README is untouched here: its update comes from the source with the next sync. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Change-Id: I2029fd92795c039ac0d1e83bc459e7e9cd0df6a4
