I know that a lot of people are using Obtainium, but haven't really used it myself yet.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with Obtainium, it's a great app to install open-source apps directly from their release page, and it's where I downloaded TranslateYou from. Adding a link in the README makes it a breeze to download your app for Obtainium users.
