Just recording that Apple is opposed to this going working group. Expect a formal objection if this is merged. We'd be open to discussing a different venue at the W3C and doing this properly from first principles (i.e., some new agentic web CG/WG). This proposes to work on WebMCP within the scope of the Web Machine Learning Working Group, as a tentative deliverable.
