About our project

This is our project of Mobile Commerce Development course.

We are Group 1 from class 232MI2702, University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM.

Our team has built a Java-based mobile application for Android that sells handmade accessories and jewelry made from beads called - Charmsie. Charmsie is an online store specializing in colorful handmade jewelry and accessories crafted from decorative beads, catering to GenZ, especially creative, lovely, and sophisticated young women.

Installation

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps:

1. Clone the repo

git clone https://github.com/your_username/MyAndroidApp.git

2. Open the project in Android Studio

• Open Android Studio
• Select Open an existing project
• Navigate to the cloned directory and select it

3. Build the project

• Sync the project with Gradle files
• Build the project to ensure all dependencies are downloaded

4. Run the app

• Connect your Android device or start an emulator
• Click the Run button or use Shift + F10

Setting up

To ensure the app runs smoothly, follow these steps:

1. Change the device language

This app performs best in Vietnamese. If possible, please change your device language to Vietnamese before running the app.

2. Sign in and Sign up

• Using Predefined Accounts:

  • Client: Use hihi (username), hi (password).
  • Adminstrator: Use adminCharmsie (username), admin123 (password).

• Creating Your Own Account:

  • Navigate to SignUpActivity and SignUpVerificationActivity
  • Fill in the Nhập email ở đây fields (there are two) in both activities with your organization email.
  • Enter the password for your email in the Nhập mật khẩu ở đây field.
