I'm seeing the same issue for a couple of songs. It seems to be common for less popular songs and artists.

[artemisreality]

Also for the new releases album. I tried to download the new "The Strokes" album "Reality Awaits". When I played the preview each songs, it's correct but after download all the songs are incorrect. I notice this also a couple months ago with the new "Gorillaz" album.

At least, make sure the preview song also wrong, so I don't have to download the whole song if "not ready" yet.

Still also an issue for myself, trying to download some rather new/niche tracks and will often have it be the wrong track.

[artemisreality]

wrong track

Exactly. I have notice for lesser known songs and also for the newest releases. I hope at least the preview button will literally play the song that about to download. But, as of now, the preview button will play the correct songs while after downloading, the result is different.

I have tried today to download the new "The Strokes" album "Reality Awaits" and finally correct. It needed to wait for couple of days (I guess) to get the new releases. But, also possible different cases if the artist not well known.

Same here. This bug occurred with older releases, was solved, and now is back again. Out of 4 downloads, 3 were completely wrong songs. All of them not popular ones.

[TYP3D]

experiencing this exact same issue. it's not too niche i'd say, with a couple hundred thousand listens

[Gummomarx]

I've seen the odd one on monochrome.tf.

[popt2t]

Not often, but I observe the same thing.

Had this happen with https://open.spotify.com/album/6yHVghUXaI1crOwS85d8L6, which downloads all the tracks with the proper names, but the music in the tracks is from another artist entirely (sorry no idea who).

I think if it's not on Tidal, Qobuz, nor Amazon Music, then it would just give you the one song that it thinks it best matches your criteria.

I think if it's not on Tidal, Qobuz, nor Amazon Music, then it would just give you the one song that it thinks it best matches your criteria.

It is not the case. The reason must be different why this software receives wrong links from other streaming services to proper track from Spotify.

Here is the example of song: https://open.spotify.com/track/4nuCduUvdIexFSDkQUJ0vU?si=b9800053381f4e49
When I make preview it give me correct song preview (probably from original source - Spotify).
When I check from which streaming service it will take song it shows me only Tidal an give me this link: https://tidal.com/track/377413211 (which is wrong).
When I look for this song on Tidal the actual proper link is: https://tidal.com/track/377413203

Version: v7.2.2 for Windows

Could this possibly be a regional issue? Similar to how netflix movies/shows are locked to regions. Both of those Tidal links are different but yet they give me the same exact song.

After some quick research, Tidal, Qobuz and Amazon music are all regionally licensed so it could be where ever the servers are located that's pulling the music could be in a region where it does not have access to certain songs.

I encounter this problem when downloading various albums. For example: https://open.spotify.com/album/4hBL8N0YTn1d8P1c0AZdLw?si=lWwjzyxQSau8C4pydm5IwQ or https://open.spotify.com/album/3PYWQo89juaAr0HooKtfEH?si=YI26ENnZSUG7lNs6Bml-Zw and not only

[SpookySquid14]

I'm also having this issue and it's making it hard for me to use the tool to download large batches of songs because I never know which ones will actually be the right song. I tried downloading Speed is My Life and it gave me something I have never heard before.
