… in `models.json`. Anthropic released Claude Fable 5.1 on 2026-09-01 with API model ID `claude-fable-5-1`, and it is now the default Fable model in Claude Code 2.1.257. Without a registry entry CLIProxyAPI rejects the model before routing it to an enabled Claude OAuth credential (issue router-for-me/CLIProxyAPI#5402). Metadata mirrors the existing `claude-fable-5` entry, matching the published specs: 1M context window, 128K max output, adaptive-only thinking with the low/medium/high/xhigh/max effort levels, text and image input, text output. The catalog entry is required either way; making the model usable also needs that emulated baseline re-measured at >= 2.1.251, which is tracked on the CLIProxyAPI side (router-for-me/CLIProxyAPI#5403).
