This repo contains everything to set up a modest Pulumi IDP experience.

Prerequisites

• Pulumi Cloud Enterprise or Business Critical tier. See Pricing Page
• (TEMPORARY) Github or Gitlab application installed in your Pulumi Org.

    • Github App Integration
    • Gitlab Integration
  • When the new IDP frontend lands in Pulumi Cloud this will not be needed for basic use.
• (TEMPORARY) From this repo, use the Use this template to copy the repo to your Github or Gitlab org to which you set up the integration described in the prerequisites.
  • Once the new IDP frontend lands in Pulumi Cloud, this will not be needed for basic use.

How to Use (Basic Setup)

To use this "IDP in a Box" as-is with no-code and local deployment support, do the following:

• Navigate to the repo where these templates and components are located.
  • If you copied the repo to your own github or gitlab org, use that URL.
  • Otherwise, you can point to the original URL.
• Copy the URL for the repo.
• In Pulumi Cloud, navigate to Organization Settings -> Integrations and paset the repo URL and save.
• Navigate to IDP -> Templates select the random-yaml template.
• Select the Deploy with Pulumi button.
• Select the No-code deployment option.
• (Optional) Modify a configuration value.
• Select the Create project button.
