Resolve the pingcap#6485 cherry-pick against release-8.5 while keeping the branch-specific implementation and the original fix behavior. Validated with focused race and failpoint unit tests, make fmt, and make cdc using Go 1.25.12.

Cherry-pick conflicts appear resolved; removing the |
Remove the extra result fallback and error handling changes. Keep the Raw callback identical to the original PR apart from the error package alias and the release-8.5 metrics receiver. Restore existing connection error handling and remove the extra test cases. Validation: 159 targeted race and failpoint tests, make fmt, make cdc, and git diff --check with Go 1.25.12.

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Handle standard driver results without a type-assertion panic.
If ExecContext returns a standard driver.Result, this assertion panics before the writer can record affected rows. For example, sqlmock.NewResult implements RowsAffected but not AllRowsAffected. Use AllRowsAffected for dmysql.Result and fall back to RowsAffected() for other results, as the stated result contract requires. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

What problem does this PR solve?
Issue Number: close #5832
What is changed and how it works?
Execute multi-statement DML through
sql.Conn.Rawto access the MySQL driver's per-statement results. For a batch containingBEGIN; ...; COMMIT;,RowsAffected()only reports the final statement's result. The writer now sumsmysql.Result.AllRowsAffected()to record the total affected rows across the batch, while retaining theRowsAffected()fallback for standard result types.Build parameters directly as
[]driver.NamedValueand validate them with the driver's NamedValueChecker, preserving MySQL's support for unsigned integers. SQL execution, best-effort rollback, and affected-row reporting all run inside the Raw callback. Rollback uses the underlying driver directly to avoid reacquiring the connection lock. The callback returns the original execution error, allowing Raw to handle driver.ErrBadConn before the error is wrapped as a TiCDC transaction error.Notice
The expected size may be smaller than the actual size for multi-row INSERT statements, such as
INSERT INTO ... VALUES (x), (x);, because we use the SQL statement length as the expected size here.Check List
