It would be great if this tool supported reading and writing credentials from the macOS keychain rather than storing them in plain-text in the config.json

Use case

macOS users would benefit from the increased security.

Thanks for the suggestion, @maccuaa! Keeping the API token out of config.json on macOS is a reasonable ask, and the jira-cli reference is helpful.

I'll look into this. The current thinking is to slot the Keychain into the existing token resolution chain (env / --token → profile token → Keychain → .netrc), likely by calling the built-in security CLI so we don't pull in a native dependency.

In the meantime, if you want to avoid a plain-text token today, the .netrc fallback already works on macOS: https://github.com/pchuri/confluence-cli#option-4-netrc-file

I'll follow up here once there's a concrete plan or PR.
