📝 Compatibility Note

Important: The version number of the PlayStation-X theme corresponds to the official Batocera releases and, in particular, to updates and new features introduced in EmulationStation.

That said, PlayStation-X theme versions are not restricted to specific Batocera builds. The version number (e.g., v41, v40...) serves only as a compatibility guideline.

If a newer version of the theme works well with your system, you can continue using it without any issues — there's no need to downgrade.

If you experience display issues, glitches, or compatibility problems with your current frontend, we recommend trying an older version of the theme that matches your Batocera version more closely:
