I am very interested in this project
It makes my life much better.
I think it needs some marketing to let people know about it, and it also needs some fixes.
Also when people learn about it, it will start receiving patches and fixes

Would you be interested in maintaining this project? Do you have the time for that?
I would like to start open issues and trying to solve them

Yes — it's actively maintained again. I've rebuilt it as Better Sentence Segmentation: a Manifest V3, cross-browser (Chrome + Firefox) rewrite, with the abbreviation and numbered-list issues you filed (#2, #3) fixed and tests to keep them that way.

On the rename: the original "Sentence Segmenter" listing lives on a separate Chrome Web Store account that I no longer have access to, so I can't publish updates to it. Rather than leave it stuck on the old version, I'm relaunching the rewrite as a new listing under a new name from my own account. It's currently pending review on both the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons — I'll update the link in the README as soon as it's approved. The new listing links back to the original for continuity.

Thanks for PR #9 and the reports — they directly shaped this rewrite. New issues and contributions are very welcome.
