RH-95837: Soften SubNodeControl note (no separate bug planned)#138
Merged
Conversation
SubNodeControl stays disabled (obsolete in Rhino 9, no replacement); drop the "tracked as a separate bug (RDK / Max)" wording since that work is not planned. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Now that the RH-96417 core fix is validated and merged to 9.x, honor the ReturnNullForStandardMaterial flag in TestCustomMeshProvider: return a null instance material in shaded display so the object's standard material is used, and only supply our own material when the flag is clear (production render). Replaces the previous always-supply-a-material workaround. Resolves RH-97007. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
