docs(i18n): add Spanish website and documentation - #7559
Preserve the prior maintainer's fixes for protected Grok credentials, pairing codes on stdin, encrypted-task combo eligibility, MiniMax forwarding order, signature wording and quoted Markdown fence scanning.
Correct the Spanish acceptance blockers in the Grok Build and MiniMax guides against the complete English pages: self-managed Grok configuration, unresolved credential fallback, direct mmx commands, process-exit cleanup and credential isolation. Also clarify the remaining lifecycle, alias, reasoning and bridge instructions in those two guides and correct both troubleshooting sidebar labels.
Merge dev ordinarily, preserve its client-support sidebar entry and canonical Platform Support link, and generate the newly required Spanish client-support matrix from Spanish locale strings. No setting from unmerged feat(responses): complete gracefully on max_output_tokens #7770 is added.
Verification
Validated final head 38fee5e6bdcff9a6d22d751e272d0004c5a8f8fd on Windows with Bun 1.4.4 and OCX_TEST_NO_QUEUE=1. Ordinary merge 6935109e87b93f156886f781ce73de2827c3ae08 includes dev e7b8cdfdaf16e8ec3fdb5333a655207a09dc70c3 (0 behind the fetched dev tip). Fix commit 38fee5e6b and the merge both credit federicorv25. Original author commits are retained; no rebase or force-push.
Frozen root and docs-site installs: exit 0.
bun test --no-env-file --isolate tests/ci-workflows/docs-spanish-localization.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/docs-readme-translation-parity.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/docs-remote-hub-claims.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/client-support-matrix.test.ts tests/test-layout.test.ts tests/test-layout-tooling.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/file-size-ratchet.test.ts --timeout 60000: 179 pass / 0 fail, 3,570 assertions. Only one Bun test process ran at a time.
bun run typecheck: exit 0, no type errors in 2,228 files. bun run structure:check, bun run privacy:scan, and git diff --check: exit 0.
bun run --cwd docs-site build: exit 0; 676 pages / 100,008 internal links checked.
bun run docs:clients generated all 9 locale pages; only the new Spanish page differs. The client-support regression verifies all committed generated pages and locale key sets. bun run structure:index ran and left the generated index unchanged.
Red → green, assertions unchanged: seven scratch wording checks (bun test --no-env-file --isolate ./.tmp/es2/spanish-acceptance.test.ts --timeout 60000) were 0 pass / 7 fail at merged pre-fix head 6935109e8, then 7 pass / 0 fail. These verify the corrected wording; they do not establish independent rendered-page acceptance. Receipts are in .tmp/es2/acceptance-red.log and .tmp/es2/acceptance-green.log.
The existing Spanish localization guard was 14 pass / 4 fail after merging dev because the new canonical client-support page lacked a Spanish counterpart; it passes in the final batch after generating that page. Receipt: .tmp/es2/parity-red.log.
GraphQL review-thread inventory: 71 total / 0 unresolved, complete pagination. No unresolved thread required a reply or resolution in this lane.
Both complete Spanish guides were reread against English. Code examples and identifiers remain synchronized; HTTPS/tunnel, protected literal-token, non-secret placeholder and credential-isolation guidance remain intact. The separate independent Spanish review previously rejected two wording blockers; those are fixed, and final independent Spanish/rendered-page acceptance remains pending.
Combined-tree coordination: feat(responses): complete gracefully on max_output_tokens #7770 is not merged and its completeOnMaxOutputTokens setting is intentionally absent here. Synchronize the Spanish server page when composing those PRs and run the Spanish parity guard on the union.
Full-suite exception: concurrent carry lanes share this Windows host, and the owner expressly limited this lane to focused tests. bun run test and unrestricted test:changed were not run; broader validation is left to PR CI. No failed CI runs were rerun, workflows dispatched or approved, or labels changed.
NOT RUN: full local suite, unrestricted test:changed, final independent Spanish/rendered-page acceptance across all pages, live providers, native-client/platform acceptance. Exact-head PR CI must complete successfully before an owner-authorized merge; this lane does not claim it green.
Checklist
Scope stays focused and avoids unrelated cleanup.
Docs or release notes were updated when needed.
Security-sensitive changes were reviewed for secrets, auth, and unsafe defaults. Existing maintainer review is retained; this carry changes documentation and locale strings, with no runtime security-boundary change.
Review readiness checklist
Required local validation passed; commands, results, and any full-suite exception are documented.
I pushed my PR to a recent dev commit (at most 10 behind; a maintainer may still ask for the exact tip before merge).
I resolved all correct Codex and CodeRabbit findings.
My PR is ready for review.
Final independent Spanish language/rendered-page acceptance remains pending. Technical checks and the implementation lane's reread do not establish that acceptance.

lidge-jun/opencodex#7612: The PR adds Spanish installation guidance, but does not update the Korean Bun-version wording or add Korean parity coverage.
lidge-jun/opencodex#7720: The Spanish retry-diagnostics page documents related 429 and transport evidence, but the implementation fix requested by the issue is outside this documentation change.
lidge-jun/opencodex#7761: The Spanish adapter reference documents the related selector contract, but does not implement the reported model-variant fix.
lidge-jun/opencodex#7590: The Spanish adapter reference documents effort clamping, but does not change catalog or outbound-request behavior.

Full details: Linked Issues check
Explanation
The only directly linked issue is #7406. Its state is closed, and the supplied issue context marks it as historical context only. No active directly linked issue remains. Therefore, no linked-issue coding requirements apply. The PR objectives define the Spanish documentation-site split, not the broader dashboard or README work from #7406.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The whole-PR summary shows changes that support the documentation-site split: Spanish Astro/Starlight pages and locale data, navigation and metadata, Pagefind-related support, translated documentation updates, documentation parity tests, layout registrations, and the devlog plan. The summary reports no backend, GUI, dependency, release, or workflow implementation changes. English and other-locale edits correct shared documentation defects or synchronize canonical content, and the test and fixture edits validate the Spanish documentation. No unrelated change is demonstrated.

This is the docs-site-first extraction requested in the closure of #7406. The dashboard and README are being preserved on separate branches, without opening competing review requests. The published head is 8ad7522, based on current dev 5f7f7db. Local validation and real browser captures are in the description. The PR remains Draft for owner/localization acceptance; current hosted functional checks still need maintainer authorization.
Please review this documentation-only scope and its guards, including the six documentation corrections carried from the final #7406 review. This does not attest independent human language acceptance. The contributor will inspect the completed review; we are not waiting for its result.
The CLI registry, help text, dispatch logic, tests, and lifecycle documentation all define this subcommand. No documentation change is required for this concern.
The foreground-to-service handoff is already implemented.
ocx service install stops the tracked foreground proxy before writing service assets, then installs and verifies the service. It releases the previous ownership only after registration succeeds. Leaving ocx start running before installation is therefore supported. The proposed instruction to stop it first is unnecessary and could remove the intended failure-safe behavior.
The finding is refuted. --restart-codex intentionally restarts app servers and fully quits and relaunches the Codex desktop app. --restart-app-server-only is the narrower alternative and leaves the desktop app running.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Qualify the automatic-restart claim.
These lines say that service managers restart the process after failure. The sign-in troubleshooting page states that the Codex integration does not install a background service and requires a separate ocx service install step. Users without an installed and configured service manager may therefore expect recovery that does not occur.
Change this to: Cuando hay un gestor de servicios instalado y configurado, puede reiniciar el proceso si falla.
As per path instructions, localized documentation must remain consistent with actual CLI/API behavior and related documentation.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Fix the first heading level.
### Backends de búsqueda web adicionales is the first document heading after front matter, so it has no level-two parent and violates MD001. Change it to ##, or add a containing level-two section.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Add the blank line required after the fenced block.
markdownlint-cli2 reports MD031 because this fenced block is immediately followed by the admonition terminator. Add an empty line between the closing fence and :::.
⚠️Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Remove the trailing space from the inline code span.
The # span has a space before its closing backtick. markdownlint-cli2 reports MD038 on this line. Write `#` seguido de un espacio or move the trailing space outside the code span while preserving the serialized header.

existing service-api-token file, and a newly generated token, preserving the
documented precedence and behavior of `ocx service install` and `ocx service
repair`. Clarify that an admin-token collision in the existing file requires
deleting that file before running `ocx service repair`, and ensure the Spanish
wording accurately reflects the CLI behavior.
- Around line 318-330: Rewrite the `ocx service repair` and `ocx service
restart` section with clear, complete sentences and correctly delimited
inline-code spans. State that `repair` leaves an unchanged healthy job running,
while `restart` restarts it with `launchctl kickstart -k`; keep the documented
behavior aligned with the CLI.
Review comments at @docs-site/src/content/docs/es/guides/sidecars.md:

accurate to the existing implementation.
Review comments at @docs-site/src/content/docs/es/guides/sub-agent-surface.md:

Preserve the existing link to the v1 default explanation.
- Line 73: Rewrite the delegation suggestion sentence in clear Spanish to

Spanish prose that clearly distinguishes loopback access, which does not require
an admin token, from non-loopback access, which does. Preserve the exact names
OPENCODEX_ADMIN_AUTH_TOKEN and ~/.opencodex/admin-api-token, and accurately
describe where the dashboard keeps the token; keep the guidance aligned with
actual CLI/API behavior.
Review comments at @docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/adapters.md:
- Around line 133-134: Rewrite the Command Code and MiMo paragraph to clearly
distinguish when repeated tool-call markup remains text, is released, or is
restored as a call. Use separate, grammatically complete sentences that preserve
the existing conditions and behaviors, including native-call matching, clean
completion, and interrupted or failed turns.
- Around line 104-108: Rewrite the `agent_message` paragraph in clear Spanish,
separating the conversion rules into distinct sentences. Preserve the conditions
for non-`forward` and `forward` `authMode`, the `422 unknown item type
"agent_message"` failure, and xAI’s conversion of non-blank string results,
including which items remain unchanged.
- Around line 9-16: Update the ProviderAdapter documentation snippet to include
its omitted contract members, including reportsPhysicalSends, formatErrorBody,
localTerminal, tierMetadata parser parameters, and tierLogForRunTurn, or
explicitly label the snippet as abbreviated.
Review comments at @docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/architecture.md:
- Line 87: Update the Spanish architecture documentation around
`stallTimeoutSec` to describe the 300-second limit as an upstream inactivity
timeout, replacing “fecha límite de venta” with “tiempo de espera por
inactividad” or an equivalent established Spanish term.
Review comments at @docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/cli.md:
- Line 50: Update the description in the `ocx help models qzxv` row to state
clearly that detailed help is unavailable and directs the reader to the known
model family; keep the example command and table structure unchanged.
Review comments at @docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/cli/messaging.md:
- Line 104: Rewrite the Spanish sentence in the paragraph surrounding
`OPENCODEX_HOME` to clearly state that the actual WebSocket connection must be
mutually authenticated before accepting native frames or the message body, and
that a separate health check does not prove identity. Preserve both security
requirements without weakening them.
Review comments at
@docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/codex-retry-diagnostics.md:
- Line 72: Rewrite the regression-test scope sentence in the Codex retry
diagnostics documentation to state clearly that the tests do not wait for or
verify an actual Codex retry notification, a desktop restart, or live provider
recovery. Preserve the existing description of the parser/formatter checks and
other coverage exclusions.
Review comments at @docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/configuration.md:
- Around line 63-67: Rewrite the fastRows description to clearly state that the
proxy adds <base-id>--fast rows to /v1/models, Claude Code discovery, and
exports; selecting one routes to the base model with the priority service level;
and setting fastRows to false hides generated rows while leaving the base row
available.
- Around line 96-98: Rewrite the “Escrituras atómicas” note as two or three
complete Spanish sentences. Clearly state that opencodex writes managed
config.toml and opencodex-catalog.json through a temporary file and then
atomically renames it, and that when a managed TOML file contains an integer
outside JavaScript’s safe range, the rewrite is rejected and the original file
remains unchanged.

stating that the proxy fails to start.
- Line 14: Update the Spanish troubleshooting document’s references to temporary

“temperatura” and “temperaturas” with grammatically appropriate forms of
“archivo temporal” and “archivos temporales.”
Review comments at @docs-site/src/data/frontier-i18n.ts:

All 36 previous review threads are addressed and individually explained, including the explicit-stop and valid-refused-preview clarifications. The update also fixes adjacent default-off/credential/queue/adapter wording and synchronizes the latest picker, Antigravity quota and five-slot subagent documentation.
The description now contains current local validation, the root-suite scope exception, immutable browser evidence and exact-head CI authorization status. Keep this PR Draft for owner/localization acceptance. The new review outcome remains to be assessed.
Needs fixes before this can land: resolve dev conflicts while preserving all shards; correct whitespace-only handling in PR file es/reference/adapters.md:104 to match dev’s reference/adapters.md:241; obtain human Spanish acceptance and fresh CI.
Still needed on dev: yes — docs-site/astro.config.mjs:64 has no Spanish locale. This is the docs-site split requested from #7406.
Exact-head CI at triage time: 44d4bbe — reported checks pass; Cross-platform CI, React Doctor and Codex queue helpers are action_required. lane=all on exact head: no.
Please refresh onto current dev when addressing these; heads older than dev need a fresh exact-head CI run before review.
@lidge-jun Addressed the technical items in your triage comment, published together at f4cead0f67c7897161a2bf0c2c0a180f7757c706.
Merged current dev through ceef4889e4666dc0492a375d272eafa5b785361e (2.93.0), including 2494848f56, preserving the published history. GitHub now reports the PR mergeable, with no dev conflicts.
Preserved all eight upstream test-layout shards byte-for-byte and appended the documentation shard. The layout guards pass.
Corrected the adapter paragraph to distinguish nonblank strings from empty/whitespace-only strings, matching canonical English and the existing runtime regression cases.
Synchronized Spanish with the intervening English changes, including JEV session pinning/strategy preservation, Antigravity account model availability, provider updates, Hermes affinity, native effort normalization and Remote Link readiness/diagnostics.
Local validation: 512 focused docs/layout/structure/hygiene/adapter/export tests plus 9 file-size tests passed; after the last dev merge, another 143 teardown/auth regressions passed. Final Spanish guard recheck: 15 passed, 2,138 assertions. Typecheck, structure and privacy checks pass. Final offline docs build: 667 pages, 97,690 internal links checked. The updated description documents commands, the full-root-suite resource exception, earlier screenshots and this refresh's screenshot-service limitation.
Human Spanish/render acceptance remains pending, so the PR stays Draft. The new exact-head Cross-platform CI, React Doctor and Codex queue helpers require maintainer authorization. Please authorize the fork runs and arrange the lane=all exact-head validation requested in triage. The current automatic CodeRabbit success status says the Draft review was skipped; it is not fresh review evidence.
Please review the complete current head f4cead0f67c7897161a2bf0c2c0a180f7757c706, including Spanish semantic parity and the preserved test-layout shards.
Point the Spanish code-signing link to the Spanish policy page.
On /es/, this link uses base, so it opens the English policy at /reference/code-signing/. A Spanish policy page exists at es/reference/code-signing.md. Use the locale prefix only for Spanish. The other locales have no code-signing page, so applying prefix to every locale would send them to missing pages.

Clarify --scan-limit in docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/cli/agents.md:347.

Inspect service ownership before documenting this sequence.
ocx service install must either adopt the running foreground proxy or start and verify a separate service-owned proxy. Otherwise, the two ocx ready --json checks can both observe the foreground process, while the installed service remains unable to serve after that process exits.
If installation does not transfer ownership safely, stop the foreground proxy before installation and verify readiness and status after the service starts.

Published the consolidated corrections at 8400645a26c36520f5df33ece80c8f49ed0c47b5, based on dev8ebe46b2076445d100cef1e52af4d98d78f8f1e1. The PR description now contains reproducible verification and fresh browser evidence.
The eleven inline findings from the completed review were verified against canonical English and the relevant implementation, corrected, and resolved:
Finding
Corrected contract
Native-context CLI-only wording
A CLI-only override/profile opt-in does not enable the proxy's startup gate.
Native-context trial warning
Clarifies the native model's advertised context capability and the trial behavior.
Native-context provider instruction
Names the provider/profile addition without changing the required settings.
Droid bridge limitation
Explicitly states what the bridge does not implement.
Code-mode tool redirection
Separates unified free-form exec with nested helpers from flat shell_command/exec_command catalogs.
Architecture description
Names the module map, AdapterEvent bridge, request analysis and caching directly.
Headless management
Separates live port/identity-checked commands, unavailable-proxy HTTP 503/non-zero exit, and explicitly offline operations.
Storage cleanup
Without --yes, prints the proposed release, changes nothing and exits 0.
Catalog refresh receipt
Distinguishes false/true pending status, exit codes and missing/malformed verification; saving does not prove client convergence.
Combo effort list
Lists exact valid values; an omitted field stays unset and an empty list is rejected. Existing combo-file regressions exercise these cases.
Windows bundled runtime
Corrects both current-bundle statements in English and Spanish to manifest version 1.4.4 while preserving historical 1.3.14 observations. A regression checks the current statements against the manifest.
Both outside-diff findings are also fixed: the landing signing-policy link selects an existing translated policy, and the log-scan-limit table in es/reference/cli/agents.md distinguishes rows read from returned limits and bounded counts. Both reported missing final newlines were confirmed and added. The touched localization/parity helpers now have explanatory docstrings; no new CodeRabbit coverage result is claimed before its review.
The additional service-install caution was checked against source. prepareServiceInstall stops managers and the tracked standalone listener before installation; the CLI reports service health against the installed service port. English and Spanish now explain this handover and add ocx service status --json. A blanket claim that installation leaves the tracked foreground listener running would contradict this implementation.
The broader pass checked metadata, executable examples, identifiers and links across all 74 pages; corrected additional model-name, negation, recovery and protocol wording; and synchronized the latest JEV, Qoder, account-identity, Kimi/Kiro, Hermes-profile, guarded-sync, native-citation and transport contracts.
Final validation on Bun 1.4.4: 611 + 181 + 9 = 801 unique focused cases passed, plus an overlapping final 18-case Spanish/Bun guard recheck; typecheck, structure, frozen installs, build (667 pages / 97,705 links) and staged privacy scan passed. The first size-guard scan timed out; its direct command and isolated retry passed without a cap change. The description records that timeout and the full-root-suite resource exception.
The branch has no merge conflict with the inspected dev tip. Current-head fork CI needs maintainer authorization; manual lane=all, fresh review and maintainer acceptance remain pending. Contributor Spanish acceptance is recorded separately. The PR stays Draft.

All eight findings from the last completed review were verified and addressed:
Corrects the heading and directs readers to the exact release/manual installer when downloads are blocked or slow.
For the cost clarification, the implementation distinguishes a known-zero leg from an unpriceable potentially billed leg: a no-spend refusal does not exclude another measured attempt. Known-zero-only refusals remain unmetered in the overall summary rather than confirming a priced $0. The usage cost regressions passed. Similarly, Advisor runtime reports dispatched failures without restarting the worker task, and sidecar receipts supply recovery appropriate to the actual refusal reason.
The broader pass synchronized 18 changed canonical pages, rechecked the complete prompt/Advisor/Remote Workspace guides, corrected adjacent semantic errors, and fixed literal-backslash parsing in the Markdown parity helper. All 74 paths retain command and inline-identifier parity. Fresh real-browser desktop/mobile captures are pinned on the separate pr-assets branch and included in the updated description.
Validation is documented with reproduction commands: docs/layout/CLI 536 pass, current-dev contracts 533 pass / 8 existing platform skips, Advisor/agent/cost/service/update 580 pass / 1 Windows fixture setup failure. The blocked symlink fixture then passed unchanged on Linux (4 pass, including overlapping cases), using official Bun 1.4.4 in a network-disabled, read-only-checkout container. Typecheck, structure, file-size ratchet, final privacy scan and docs build passed (667 pages / 97,816 checked internal links). The full-root resource exception and unexecuted cross-platform coverage remain explicit; no all-green Windows/full-root claim is made.
Maintainer actions remain: authorize current-head Cross-platform CI and Codex queue helpers, and run the requested manual lane=all for this head. Federico's prior contributor Spanish acceptance is recorded separately from maintainer approval and native Desktop testing. The PR stays Draft. LanguageTool's earlier character-budget limit is disclosed rather than represented as exhaustive grammar coverage.

The latest completed review's ten inline threads have been corrected and resolved:
Finding
Correction
Hub connection
Data origin uses HTTPS 8443; --management-url uses HTTPS 443. Fixed the first example in all nine locales and made the guard check every example, including shell continuations.
Provider quota bars
Clear per-credential five-hour/weekly bars, last-known-good retention, unavailable state and refresh freshness.
English/Spanish/Turkish distinguish retaining an unsigned original, an MSI's existing updater signature if present, and a standalone executable with none. Verified against existing signing-plan and apply-artifact code; no release or signing operation performed.
Synced-folder heuristic
Exact path heuristics, temporary second hard links and advisory false-positive/false-negative limits, without weakening storage safeguards.
The outside-diff bounded-log finding is also fixed in English and Spanish: usage errors write stderr and exit 2; operational/discovery/malformed/oversized/refused/transport failures write stderr and exit 1. Its explanation correctly identifies reference/cli/agents.md; the generated heading identifies a different file.
Also synchronized the fifteen canonical pages changed upstream, including GPT-6.1 Terra, provider/reasoning changes, tool loading, POSIX CLI update jobs and verified Desktop recovery. Corrected adjacent timing, HTTP 413, format and Hub ownership/consent/TLS/Origin wording. The foreground dashboard development recipe now uses separate terminals in all nine locales.
The updated description contains exact commands, counts, environment receipts and pinned screenshots outside the source branch. Final docs/layout checks: 470 passed; GUI contract checks: 93 passed; Desktop recovery checks: 82 passed / 8 platform skips. Build: 667 pages / 97,927 checked links; 74-path technical parity, typecheck, structure, size and staged privacy checks passed. The Windows symlink fixture limitation was covered by Linux, and the two Linux apply/admission files pass 50 tests / 1 existing root-user skip after correcting executable temporary mounts. Failed preparation attempts and the full-root resource exception remain disclosed; no full-root or packaged Desktop success is claimed.
Maintainer CI action is still needed:Cross-platform CI and Codex queue helpers require authorization for this exact head. Please authorize the required functional runs and the previously requested manual lane=all. Adding ci:full through the connector returned HTTP 403; no alternate credential route was used. The existing fixture-path selector should already choose the full Ubuntu lane for this PR's fixture diff; please confirm that after authorization or add the label if needed. No workflow policy is changed.

Maintainer triage (2026-10-28, against dev e1976da):
Spanish documentation is still wanted. The earlier whitespace-only correction is present at docs-site/src/content/docs/es/reference/adapters.md:112, and all 74 canonical documentation paths have Spanish counterparts.
Before review readiness:
Refresh onto dev and resolve scripts/test-layout/layout.json:4, retaining every current shard plus layout-docs.json and both test registrations.
Address the remaining wording findings at es/guides/combos.md:583, es/guides/minimax.md:80, and tr/reference/code-signing.md:90.
Resolve the credential-handling documentation reviews at es/guides/grok-build.md:95 and es/guides/remote-hub.md:251,294, using protected connection and secret-input examples.
Preserve quote context when matching closing fences in tests/ci-workflows/docs-spanish-localization.test.ts:27–36.
Refresh the documented focused validation and docs build with Bun 1.4.4. Leave the findings-resolved box unchecked until the remaining threads are addressed, and identify the independent Spanish language/render acceptance.
A maintainer will then arrange language acceptance, authorize the required current-head PR CI, and review the resulting head. Earlier contributor acceptance and screenshots remain useful evidence. Under current CI policy, lane=all is a batched dev check; please do not repeatedly dispatch it for branch updates.
Retain all current test-layout shards and the Spanish docs registration and oracle. Preserve the current updater ownership and package-only recovery documentation.
Protect remote credential examples, clarify translated lifecycle and signature wording, and preserve quote context in the localization fence scanner. Synchronize Spanish examples and contracts changed by the dev merge without weakening parity checks. Trusted direct-key encrypted routes remain outside combos as enforced by the runtime.

Carried the 2026-10-28 triage items onto this branch as two ordinary commits on top of your a2627b2f1 (your history unchanged, Co-authored-by credit kept):
7334dc9a6 merges current dev. scripts/test-layout/layout.json keeps every current shard plus layout-docs.json and both Spanish test registrations (1,998 lines). The troubleshooting/update-failed.md conflict follows dev's current wording.
4af53977b addresses the open review threads and the Spanish parity drift the merge introduced:
Grok credentials: the network example now uses an HTTPS frontend (or a loopback tunnel) and says to protect ~/.grok/config.toml; the English guide is updated the same way so the two do not diverge.
Hub pairing: both pairing recipes read the code silently and pass it on stdin (English and Spanish).
Fence scanner: closing fences are matched with their blockquote depth, with a regression that failed first.
Local, Bun 1.4.4: docs-spanish-localization, both test-layout tests and the file-size ratchet: 56 pass, 0 fail (13 pass / 5 fail before the fixes). docs-remote-hub-claims: 58 pass. bun run typecheck, bun run privacy:scan and the docs-site build (667 pages) pass. I approved the PR CI for this head after checking that the diff touches no workflow, dependency or release file.
Still open: the independent Spanish language/render acceptance the maintainer will arrange, and the readiness boxes (please leave "findings resolved" for after you confirm the threads above).
Translate the current dev Desktop lock diagnostic and pending-child recovery
proof requirements. Keep stable locks in place and preserve fail-closed recovery.
The existing Spanish identifier parity regression failed before this update.

672c8884537b5947452681e631bb221ef8b65a17 Merge origin/dev into PR #7559 readiness carry
Merged dev b16bc0978b2eef1799f38042084809b5a0cd11bf with an ordinary merge; original author history and Co-authored-by credit are preserved. Focused verification: bun test --no-env-file --isolate tests/ci-workflows/docs-spanish-localization.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/docs-remote-hub-claims.test.ts tests/test-layout.test.ts tests/test-layout-tooling.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/file-size-ratchet.test.ts --timeout 60000 — 114 pass / 0 fail. Typecheck, structure check, privacy scan, docs build and diff check: exit 0.
7e89f8097 synchronizes the current dev Windows Desktop lifecycle diagnostic and pending-child recovery proof guidance in Spanish. Docs build: 667 pages / 98,154 internal links.
Technical review of the preserved credential examples confirms HTTPS or a loopback tunnel, protection of the literal Grok token file, silent pairing-code input over stdin, and direct-key encrypted routes remaining outside combos. The fence scanner retains quote depth. Independent Spanish language/render acceptance is NOT RUN and remains required separately.
Review threads: 6 replied to and resolved with fixing-commit or source evidence. Technical documentation regression, with assertions unchanged: the focused five-file command below was 113 pass / 1 fail on merged head 672c888 (missing client_lifecycle_lock_failed in Spanish), then 114 pass / 0 fail after 7e89f80. The pre-fix receipt is saved in .tmp/lane-k/7559-tests-red.log. Runtime behavior is unchanged; no failed CI checks were rerun and no workflows were dispatched or approved.
NOT RUN: full local suite (shared-host exception; focused files only), unrestricted test:changed, live providers, native clients and cross-platform acceptance. Hosted CI is checked once after publication and remains an owner gate; this lane cannot approve fork CI or merge. Spanish language/render acceptance, where applicable, remains separate.
Preserve the client support navigation and the canonical platform support link
alongside the Spanish sidebar translations.

Match the English credential fallback, manual Grok configuration, MMX process
cleanup and direct-command guidance. Restore the remaining setup and lifecycle
instructions in both guides and correct the troubleshooting labels.
Generate the Spanish client support matrix introduced by the dev merge so every
canonical documentation page remains translated. Preserve executable examples.

ES2 Spanish acceptance corrections are in 38fee5e6bdcff9a6d22d751e272d0004c5a8f8fd, after the ordinary merge 6935109e87b93f156886f781ce73de2827c3ae08 of dev e7b8cdfdaf16e8ec3fdb5333a655207a09dc70c3. Both commits credit federicorv25; the original contributor commits remain intact.
I checked both complete guides against the current English source. The two reported blockers still applied at 7e89f80974951af2dd8620ec5e613de64d05db9d. These corrections restore the English meaning:

The reread also standardizes the guides' Spanish sentence structure and terminology without changing code examples, model identifiers, credentials, URLs or configuration values. The HTTPS/tunnel and protected-literal-token instructions remain intact. No completeOnMaxOutputTokens setting from unmerged #7770 was added.
The dev merge introduced reference/client-support.md. Its Spanish page was missing, so this commit adds Spanish strings to the existing generator and generates that page. The sidebar keeps dev's new matrix entry and canonical Platform Support link. bun run docs:clients wrote all 9 locales; the other 8 pages have no diff. bun run structure:index was run and left the generated index unchanged.
Verification on Windows, Bun 1.4.4, OCX_TEST_NO_QUEUE=1, serialized Bun tests:
Frozen root and docs-site dependency installs: exit 0.
Scratch acceptance checks, bun test --no-env-file --isolate ./.tmp/es2/spanish-acceptance.test.ts --timeout 60000: 0 pass / 7 fail before, 7 pass / 0 fail after, assertions unchanged. These check the corrected wording, not independent rendered-page acceptance. Receipts: .tmp/es2/acceptance-red.log and acceptance-green.log.
Existing docs-spanish-localization.test.ts on merged pre-fix head 6935109e8: 14 pass / 4 fail because Spanish lacked the new canonical client-support page. The same guard passes in the final focused batch.
bun test --no-env-file --isolate tests/ci-workflows/docs-spanish-localization.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/docs-readme-translation-parity.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/docs-remote-hub-claims.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/client-support-matrix.test.ts tests/test-layout.test.ts tests/test-layout-tooling.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/file-size-ratchet.test.ts --timeout 60000: 179 pass / 0 fail, 3,570 assertions.
bun run typecheck, bun run structure:check, bun run privacy:scan, bun run --cwd docs-site build, and git diff --check: exit 0. Docs build: 676 pages / 100,008 internal links checked.
GraphQL review-thread inventory: 71 total / 0 unresolved, complete pagination; no unresolved thread needed a reply or resolution in this lane.
Full-suite exception: concurrent carry lanes share this Windows host, and the owner explicitly limited this lane to focused tests. Broader coverage is left to PR CI. No workflows were dispatched or approved, no labels changed, and no failed CI run was rerun.
NOT RUN: full local suite (bun run test), unrestricted test:changed, independent final Spanish/rendered-page acceptance across all pages, live providers and native-client/platform acceptance. Exact-head hosted CI is reported at handoff; it is not claimed green here. The final ready-for-review checkbox remains unchecked pending independent acceptance.

Lane ES3 — acceptance review round 2 fixed in f074adb71c631b057ef375dbf683ed3e5b3bd14f (one ordinary commit on 38fee5e6bdcff9a6d22d751e272d0004c5a8f8fd).
All listed blockers and non-blocking findings are corrected against the current English source. The Spanish-tree sweep also corrected repeated tie and disabled-setting translations: 42 replacements across 17 pages. Round-1 fixes are preserved. The remaining occurrences of apagado describe actual process/runtime shutdown. No bloques de entradas, whole-word lazos, or puesta a tierra remain.
Verification:
Root and docs-site bun install --frozen-lockfile: passed with Bun 1.4.4.
All tests/ci-workflows/docs-*.test.ts plus client-support-matrix.test.ts, with OCX_TEST_NO_QUEUE=1: 382 pass, 0 fail, 15 files, 4,520 assertions.
cd docs-site; bun run build: passed; 676 pages, 100,008 internal links checked. Build emitted unsupported sshconfig syntax-highlighting warnings in unchanged pages and completed successfully.
bun run typecheck: passed, 2,228 files, zero type errors.
bun run privacy:scan and git diff --check: passed.
NOT RUN: full runtime test suite; documentation-only changes and concurrent-worktree contention. Focused documentation contracts, typecheck and the full docs build provide local coverage; exact-head hosted CI remains separate.

Comparison table (paths relative to docs-site/src/content/docs/, linked to the pushed commit):
On macOS, an ACL grant to another user or group that can write, delete, change permissions, or add/remove path entries blocks loading, even if the mode is 0600
The read has one fixed 15-second caller budget, including time spent reading metadata and waiting on a shared probe. Synchronous metadata reads finish before expiry can be checked; an exhausted budget then prevents a new probe. If it expires, the dialog reports that the prompt could not be read; locally available base instructions are still returned.
(paragraph omitted)
