Controlling a run still meant leaving Vectis for GitHub, and agents had no way to rerun or cancel work through the Vectis contract.
New commands rerun failed jobs, cancel a run and dispatch a workflow on the desktop, CLI (
vectis run rerun-failed|cancel,vectis workflow dispatch) and MCP. Each request reads the run first, stores a cloud receipt before the POST so a replayed or remote command never posts twice, and reports an ambiguous outcome asaction_required(run_command_unconfirmed) instead of retrying. The GitHub App asks foractions: write; installations must approve the updated permission.Validation:
pnpm checkpasses (462 tests). No live GitHub run was changed.
