Hi there 👋

I'm Jose Falanga, a software developer (predictably).

I mostly work on game development, but I occasionally wander into other areas when curiosity or bad ideas strike.

Selected projects

  • Uprise: My fork of Arise, adapted to fit my needs.
  • Source markdown for my blog Hypomnēma (bilingual, EN/ES), built using Uprise ☝️. Built from markdown and deployed automatically to Firebase Hosting on commit. Because reinventing the wheel is more fun than using the existing one.
  • Source for my github.io landing page, styled as a man page. I should probably consolidate it into this README instead, but nobody got time for that.

Technical tests

Misc experiments

  • My fork of YarnRunner-Python, where I added a few pull requests to bring it closer to feature parity with regular Yarn. Originally in service of a Telegram storyteller bot that never quite got off the ground.
  • Random Ludum Dare 38 entry, produced under the traditional Ludum Dare conditions of sleep deprivation and questionable decisions.
  • Resume Generator with an automated release pipeline that builds the final PDF. No more visual tools tyranny.

I contributed to the Godot Engine documentation.

The dangerous parts of the engine remain untouched.
