IBM Blue Gene Q Linux Kernel

This project is an attempt to rewrite the IBM Blue Gene/Q Linux kernel source that is currently available at:

• Argonne National Laboratory

and clean it up for consumption by the Linux Community. The first step is to rebase it against the "longterm" 3.4.y branch, that is to be mainttained until mid 2014, the repository can be found here:

• linux-stable.git

We also present this repository to enlist those in Linux community to provide comments that will eventually allow inclusion into Linux Torvalds tree. Since Blue Gene/Q is of the PowerPC architecture, it is first necessary to have the tree accepted by those maintainers who are accessible via the linuxppc mailing list:

• linuxppc-dev

Unfortunately, for various reasons, not everything we need is in the this repository yet. These items have been placed in a companion repository until we straighten them out for upstream. You can find it here:
