Description

@majoshi1

Describe the bug

Describe the feature or problem you'd like to solve
Currently, /login tries to connect with github.com. Instead, there should be an option to launch browser to login.

Proposed solution
The /login can have a new option e.g. /login --launch-chrome. With this new option, user can login using browser.

Example prompts or workflows
/login --launch-chrome

Additional context
Some companies don't allow accessing internet from CLI.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Here is the behavior I see from company firewall using git bash from Windows.
-I type /login and press enter.
-It asks to select account: 1) github.com 2) GitHub Enterprise ...
-I select github.com and press enter.
-I get following error:
Error during sign-in: fetch failed

Expected behavior

Should launch browser.

    Aha, that sounds like a duplicate of #41.

    Do you observe it working normally if you're not behind a corporate firewall?

    I am using git bash on Windows. Also, I'm trying behind a corporate firewall.

    @louis-e

    Then you'll need to use a workaround like #41 (comment) in the meantime. Afaik Copilot doesn't have a proxy configuration and doesn't respect the proxy environment variables yet.
