[BUG] Cannot switch to a free AI model #406

We don't yet support free models. These are the supported models today:
I will leave this bug open to track (1) the unhelpful error message and (2) the ask for free models.
I had assumed free AI models were already available. Understood. I look forward to your response at your convenience.
PR open to fix the error message just FYI.
Describe the bug
I currently have a monthly subscription to Copilot Pro, but after using up my premium tokens in GitHub Copilot CLI, I cannot switch to a free AI model.
Example: Claude Sonnet 4.5 -> GPT-4.1
