merge with other project

Hi - I think this is a fork from the old sf archive, and it has some added functionality - e.g. password for registration - could you please consider merging/importing those changes?

Hi fraxen sorry for the late reply, I will look into the diffs with the other project and try to merge them in over the next day or two assuming they look OK :)

I am seeing issues / test failures when I run the tests which are included in the project linked to above. It would take me some time to analyse failures and port the code into this project, but rather than going down this route is there a particular functionality in the other fork which you need and would like added to this version?

I am not sure what all the differences are, but that other project allows a password to be set for remote GNTP connections - I have used the method setPassword on the GrowlConnector: https://github.com/sbower/libgrowl/blob/master/src/main/java/net/sf/libgrowl/GrowlConnector.java
