Consumer based resource exposure. The exposed resource list becomes per consumer. An application authenticates as a consumer and reads the settings it needs at build time, while the less sensitive resources stay open to anonymous at runtime. That split is the breaking change the major is for. It needs matching support in the Nuxt frontend, which arrives in the frontend's own next major, so the two release together. Shipping the backend half earlier would ship a capability nothing can consume. Nothing scheduled.

Whether this belongs in Druxt at all depends on how it sits alongside the existing preview modules in the ecosystem, and that is a conversation with their maintainers rather than a decision here.
