Looks like we need to wait for the upstream change to actions/python-versions to land. |
actions/python-versions#357 appears to have added 3.14. |

Python 3.14 was officially released today (2025-10-07): https://devguide.python.org/versions/
Python 3.8 is EOL and Python 3.9 will be EOL tomorrow. I'm electing to keep them in the matrix as long as possible. Python 3.8 was used on Ubuntu Focal and may still be used by some developers.
