ActiveSupport::Multibyte::Chars is deprecated

On upgrading to ActiveSupport 8.1, I get the following warning:

DEPRECATION WARNING: ActiveSupport::Multibyte::Chars is deprecated and will be removed in Rails 8.2. Use normal string methods instead.
