Open-source hardware deserves open-source trust. The Manufacturer List is how the Bitaxe community tracks who is building genuine hardware: publicly, transparently, and on the record.
No backroom deals. No paid placements. Just manufacturers willing to be visible, and a community willing to review them in the open.
If you manufacture Bitaxe hardware and want to be listed, this is the place to do it in public.
The Manufacturer List is not a commercial directory and it is not an endorsement you can buy. It is a trust signal built from open review: you submit your listing, the community can look at it, and maintainers make the final call.
Good listings make it easy to verify who you are, how to contact you, and how your work fits the Bitaxe open-source ecosystem.
→ Read the Manufacturer Guide and open your PR.
See a manufacturer that shouldn't be listed? Something off?
Every report is reviewed. Every removal is transparent.
Manufacturer submits PR → Community reviews → Maintainers merge → Listed on site
The process is intentionally public. Fork the repo, add your manufacturer file and logo, then open a PR. Questions, confirmations, and concerns happen in the open so the listing earns trust before it appears on the site.
Only manufacturers marked as active should be displayed on the site.
Each manufacturer is two files:
| File | What |
|---|---|
manufacturers/{slug}.json |
Card data — name, contactUrl, region, country, and active status |
logos/{slug}.{ext} |
Logo — square 400×400px recommended, max 200 KB (png, jpg, webp) |
For the easiest step-by-step path, follow the Manufacturer Guide. manufacturers/_example.json is the raw template.
contactUrl powers the Contact button on the manufacturer card. Use the best public link for reaching you: your website, contact page, form, or official profile.
Manufacturers are tagged by region so miners can find local options:
Europe · North America · South America · Asia Pacific · Middle East · Africa · India
