markerless / arcore / arkit?

I found [an old issue from 2018](https://github.com/artoolkitx/jsartoolkit5/issues/44) on this topic, but the landscape has changed since then, and I was wondering--is there any possibility of updating this to do markerless tracking, as demonstrated int he webXR spec sample [here](https://immersive-web.github.io/webxr-samples/immersive-ar-session.html?usePolyfill=0)?
