Interactive dgo --version now checks GitHub on every invocation and renders the returned stable version. Network failures explicitly label cached information instead of claiming the installation is current; redirected output remains exactly one line without network access. Includes regression coverage, terminal tests, documentation, and 0.8.1 release metadata. Validation: full local release preflight, strict Clippy, Rust tests, dependency policy, package dry run, and PTY checks passed.
