br-acc is a tool that helps you see transparency data in an easy-to-understand graph. It uses public information and turns it into visuals, so you can quickly understand complex data. The project is still improving the website, but the core software is ready to use on Windows.
Before you download and run br-acc, make sure your Windows computer meets these requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or higher
- Processor: 1.5 GHz or faster
- Memory: 4 GB RAM or more
- Storage: At least 200 MB free space
- Internet: Needed to download the app and for some features
Use the download button below to open the page where you can get the software.
Follow the steps in the next section to install and run the program.

Click the big green or blue Download br-acc button above. It will take you to the GitHub page where you can get the software files.

On the GitHub page, look for the Releases or Latest release section. It usually shows files like
br-acc-setup.exeor similar. -
Click the setup file link to download it. The file should be around 50-100 MB.

Once the download is complete, open your Downloads folder and double-click the setup file.

Follow the setup wizard instructions:
- Click Next to move through each step.
- Accept the license agreement.
- Choose the installation folder (default is fine for most users).
- Click Install to start the installation.

When the setup finishes, click Finish to exit the wizard.

Find the br-acc icon on your desktop or in the Start menu.

Double-click the icon to open the application.

The program window will appear. You will see options to load transparency data graphs.

Use the menu to select different data sets or upload your own files if needed.

You can customize how br-acc looks and works.
- Change graph colors and styles in the Settings menu.
- Adjust data refresh intervals.
- Choose default folders for saving graphs.
- Select language preferences (English only currently).
If you run into issues:
- Make sure your Windows is up to date.
- Restart your computer and try again.
- Check that you have the latest version by visiting the download page.
- If the program does not start, try running it as administrator (right-click the icon, select Run as administrator).
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection for online features.

To update br-acc:

- Download the latest setup file.
- Run the installer which will replace your old version.
- Your settings and saved graphs will remain unchanged.
br-acc uses simple graphing libraries to display data. It reads public transparency datasets in common formats such as CSV and JSON. This approach keeps it fast and easy for regular users.
The program runs locally on your PC. No complex setup or coding is needed.
