I can't find any approval from the home-manager owners on this. Did you contact them? Because without their approval this is just "home-manager would be welcomed as an official project if desired" With their approval, this should be announced somewhere, this is worth celebrating :D And then of course there's some steps to actually make the new official status be reflected in organisation, including:
