"Failed to parse" when trying to update torch from 2.7.0 to 2.8.0 #1391

What happened?

Click three-dots icon -> Python Packages -> torch -> try to update to 2.8.0+cu128.

Console output

    This looks like you put the index url as an argument for pip to install, rather than after the --index-url part.

    Try again with the following:

    torch torchvision torchaudio --extra-index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu128 --force-reinstall

    I'm sorry, but I dont understand. I'm using Stability Matrix UI to update torch, but you are suggesting a workaround. Your advice will solve my problem, but it still will be impossible to update via UI.

    I'm trying to do these steps:

    1. On desired package (A1111 in my case) click to three-dots icon.
    2. Select Python packages.
    3. Select torch.
    4. Try to update to 2.8.0+cu128.

    Could you please give more detailed answer, I think that there is misunderstanding?
