What happened?
I came across a significant bug in the 2.15.0 preview, but not the current live 2.14.3. Installing extensions for packages is not operating correctly.
To make sure it was not only an issue with ComfyUI, I tried with another package that has extensions and has the same issue.
The issue is that when you install an extension in 2.14.3 it correctly installs each extension to its own separate subfolder within custom_nodes. In 2.15 it tries to install the extension to the root custom_node folder, which can work for the first extension, but any subsequent extensions error out due to the folder not being empty.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Extension menu
- Select extension to install
- Wait until install fails due to folder not being empty.
