Not sure what this is but sounds cool. Fell down a rabbit hole and landed here. Wikipedia linked here as an external reference but it looks like only 2 days of excitement in 2014 happened here.

I feel you on that. I have a short memory and even shorter attention span. If someone finds this, I don't own this page. I don't know this person but editing the wiki worked so I'm just a spamming stranger doing weird stuff.

But on a somewhat related note, when I was a kid (and the internet was barley a "thing" yet) we use to have to buy hint books for computer games (i.e. couldn't google yet). The books text were obscured in red and you had to have a special "adventure window" with red film thing to hold over text for it to appear.

I guess to keep the excitement of not seeing all the "hints" at once. idk.
