Replaced the custom installPhase script with the use of the standard installTargets = ["modules_install"] and corresponding installFlags. This leverages the kernel's built-in installation mechanism for modules, improving compatibility and maintainability.

See NixOS/nixpkgs#575192 and https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/576465/changes

📝 Walkthrough

The kernel module derivation now accepts kernel-provided build flags. It uses modules_install with explicit install flags instead of manually copying maccel.ko.

Changes: Kernel module build and installation

Layer / File(s) Summary
Build flags and module installation
module.nix
The derivation adds kernelModuleMakeFlags to its existing build flags. It replaces manual copying of maccel.ko with modules_install, setting the install path, module directory, stripping, and dependency-map options.

A rabbit checks the build flags twice,
Then hops where module targets slice.
The kernel path receives its load,
The install flags mark out the road.
One neat .ko rests in its place.
