This project creates a new industry credential for high school students.
It is also the prototype project for an entirely new approach to developing teen curricula, and to setting specific teen learning goals.
This next generation credential is the result of over a decade of R&D into how we can redesign high schools.
It specifically addresses two workforce issues:
- The inequitable teaching of literacy in K-3, and the lifelong consequences.
- The abysmal shortage of Black teacher candiates.
As a prototype, it will help iterate entirely new processes for developing, testing, and fielding such credentialed learning.
- Made with NativeScript, the open source, cross-platform framework for mobile apps.
- Designed to offer one ten-hour course
- Designed to be used with new education freedom laws (including Learn Everywhere in a number of states, or Ohio's unique Credit Flexibility option) to organically grow a new, highest quality Industry Credential.
