Auto-Tagging

Click the "Fetch" button to get started

Music Brainz Serach

  1. Limit: how many results to returns

  2. Lucene: manual advanced search (see more)

  3. Artist

  4. Title

Use either lucene or Artist and Title


MusicBrainz Result Browser

  2. Results When selecting one of the recordings, a new popup will show to select the appropriate

Wait for the tags to be fetched, if the current track(local file) already have an album cover, you'll have to choose to either keep it(or them if multiple) or replace it/them

Now you have auto-tagged your track

Click save to save changes, or return/close to discard changes

  1. Attach a local subtitle file(one of the supported extensions by the app) to the current file
  2. If the current file has an unsynced lyrics that have time stamps attached to them (e.g. [00:03:24]Hello World!) you can tell the app to try to parse them using either the built-in automatic parser, or a fixed pattern([MM:SS]Text)

Here's an example of a song with unsynced lyrics that have timestamps attached to them

By selecting the "Try Parse Synced Lyrics From Unsynced Lyrics" menu item, this popup will show

If the curent lyrics matches the "[MM:SS]Text" pattern, choose the first option, otherwise choose the "Internal Subtitle Parser" and click "Continue"
