Description
I am considering whether it is possible to implement a random LFG queue with npcbots that are not hired by players, but rather npcbots that join the queue on demand to supplement the player count when there are not enough players for a random dungeon:
It could be considered to automatically add npcbots to the queue every n minutes to compensate for the lack of actual players.
Like battleground bots, these robots could automatically select corresponding talents and join the group, but players would not be able to control the npcbots.
The npcbots would have equipment levels equivalent to players, or consistent with the battlegrounds, automatically assigning roles based on whether the selected role is a tank, DPS, or healer.
The looting method for npcbots could be config, either through a roll system or give up, and this could be implemented through a configuration file.
npcbots would follow the same actions as players, or default AI flow team group leader and auto fight.
npcbots cannot leave the dungeon with players; the group will automatically disband after a certain period once the player exits the dungeon.
