Steps to reproduce

1. Receive a mail with an attached calendar file (MIME: text/calendar, name for example: appointment.ics)
2. Save the attachment to the filesystem. The filename in the save dialog is correctly shown as appointment.ics

Expected behavior

Search for the file in the file browser and find, that it has been saved as apointment.ics

Actual behavior

Search for the file in the file browser and find, that it has been saved as apointment.ics.txt

Just had a similar issue on Pixel 10 Pro (GrapheneOS 2026070500), Thunderbird 20.1 via F-Droid - received a .pkpass but it was saved as .pkpass.asf

Opened a fix in #11268 - the save flow now passes a MIME type consistent with the attachment's filename extension, so the Storage Access Framework keeps names like appointment.ics unchanged instead of appending .txt.
