Houdini Freezes in the background while working?

Hey there,

This is pretty great but why does Houdini have to freeze in the background while I am in Sublime? It doesn't come back until I close Sublime, making any kind of iteration or error-checking completely cumbersome.

Hello, thanks! As far as I know, it's an expected behavior. Houdini spawns editors in blocking threads and Sublime Text is not an exception. I work this way myself. There were some efforts to workaround this issue 2-3 years ago. So, I'll look into it when I have a time. Even if there is a workaround, it may be cumbersome in it's own manner. Like, using shelf tools, installing HDAs, pressing many buttons, etc.
