Suggestion: complete typescript rewrite

Hi, we just moved to Strophe v3 after being years on v1.6, and we encounter some issues with Typescript type not being completely representative of the actual library methods (e.g. optional methods parameters not really optional, types not exported properly, ...)

We would like to know if a complete Typescript rewrite is something you would be interested to have ? This could also be the opportunity to integrate Promise support.

Issues like these are usually quite easy to fix, so if you encounter them, please make a pull request with a fix, or at least create an issue.
