Implement delay on slider input

Right now, sliders are firing immeadiatly, causing wonky display and more load than necessary on the server. Mesh with @thanithani to determine right amount of delay, or a manual way to set filters (submit button or something)

what if instead of a delay, we listen for click-up, so nothing changes till your done?

That works if its just a slider that goes from Today->whatever date, but if we want to have a two-handled slider, and allow people to define something like tomorrow->4 days from now, then configuring the slider will take two clicks.

we could fire after each click. If the user only messes with one nob waiting for a second click wouldn't do anything.

Good point! Although mouse-click-up is not a standard event, maybe theres some way to listen for it.. idk. im glad this request isnt assigned to me :)
