How do I move from 1.7.3 to v2 alpha?

The v1.7.3 installation size is 1 GB, including mods.
The v2 installation size is 75 MB.

Just using the same installation dir for v2 won't do me any good since it will only overwrite with new files, but old unchanged content will still hog space.

I don't want to start from scratch and setup each mod one by one.

So, what's the official suggested steps for this migration?

Uninstall Windhawk. Don't check the option to delete all data - mods and settings will be kept. Then install Windhawk 2.0 alpha.

Mine is portable installation and it doesn't show up in Settings -> apps. Not seeing an uninstaller in the install dir either.

In this case, you can install portable 2.0 over the existing folder, and not check the development tools component. Make sure that after that, windhawk.ini has empty entries for UIPath and CompilerPath. After that, you can delete the UI and Compiler folders.

Total Windhawk folder size is not 357 MB.

They're not there, they've been removed by the installer, so it's even easier. Now you can also remove UIData and Symbols.
