Description
I usually run Ableton Live (Windows) with the option "Scaling performed by Application" set because it tends to result in better compatibility for VST3 plugins on my machine when allowing them to perform HiDPI scaling. I recently tried turning the option off since I wanted to see what plugins were still having problems, and I see that plugdata is doing this weird thing:
In case it's not obvious from the image, the content area is pixelated and the surrounding area is not. I've tried hunting down where this is happening and comparing debug values between the standalone and the plugin running both with "Scaling performed by Application" checked and without and have not come up with anything so far.
I'm thinking this is due to something going wrong with the OpenGL context but obviously could be something else. I'm also using an NVIDIA card which has been known to have some weird problems with VST3 plugins. Can anyone replicate this behavior? I can go back to running Live with that option checked, but since it's not the default value it would be better to fix the problem for real.
