Plugdata freezes upon opening in Arch Linux (Wayland)

Hi,
I noticed that plugdata (plugdata-bin 0.9.1-1) freezes right after opening. Any point I try to click appears inactive. I tried searching online and it might be something related to the graphics drivers (I am on an Arch Linux Wayland environment). Has anyone had a similar experience?

0.9.1 is very old, have you tried the latest 0.9.2 release?

I'm also assuming that you have xwayland?
