I just tested Click Extra against the 8.2.0 tag and could not find any regression on my side (but ANSI-related shenanigans on Windows which are just implementation details added by Click Extra).

To me 8.2.0 is ready to be pushed to PyPi. I will release soon-after a new version of Click Extra (4.16.0), with hard requirement on Click 8.2.0 to gather regression and edge-cases from my users. If I uncover something I'll report it for 8.2.1.

Thanks for the promotion! 🥳 I mainly works on Click-adjacent projects in batches, so expect some irregularities in my presence. But I can gladly serve as a backup if things get stalled or you are yourselves busy elsewhere. In the meantime, I'll keep pushing bug reports and PRs as usual.
