OSS software fails to work on update, can't revert backwards

PROBLEM - UMIDIGI G6 android 13 PROGRAM FAILS TO FUNCTION PROPERLY on latest version

History: OSS Document Scanner 1.17.0.apk worked perfect.
update to 8a breaks operation.

When opening software, hangs for a while when finally opens changing camera to internal phone camera resolves startup problem. But image processing extremely slow. Program hangs and crashes after image scan.

When tried to revert back to previous .apk, message indicated not compatible.

This was a great program. Can someone please help with this issue.
