Subscribing to information about implemented features

As part of the contribution process (#4808), will you add a comment to the originating issue after the feature is implemented?

The purpose of this is to keep the github issue subscribers informed about the progress (see #4705 (comment)).

Or maybe the github issues about features should be closed only after they are inplemented?

I will if I remember, that's why the issue number is in the todo list (if there is one). The point of having a todo list is to avoid having hundreds of issues open where nobody is doing anything.
