Localization of notification templates

Hi,

I haven't found the answer anywhere in the docs, so decided to trigger the discussion here: what is the expected way of localizing the notification templates? There is information about localizing the widget itself, but not the actual messages. I expect that the data is stored separately from the notification templates, so wondering if you have the localization of templates available in Novu.

It would be great if you can point me to the right place in the documentation or some example.

Hi @titenkov ! Could you please share a bit more details about your usecase?
Do you mean if there is localization to the text you write in the editor?

For example, you as our user creates this:

And then you would like this to be sent out to your users in several different languages?

So, we currently don't support this, but we do have a plan to work on it in our next few cycles.

Do you see any workarounds for it? Workarounds of how to make notifications localized before you have this feature available out of the box.

Hi there, @ainouzgali do you have any idea of the timeframe in which this feature might be developed? I don't see it in the roadmap, in our case, it is a pretty compelling requirement (or at least having even a hacky workaround) since our platform handles multiple languages.

Hi all,
Couple of things here -

1. Our roadmap is publicly available here: https://roadmap.novu.co/roadmap
   We moved to ProductLane to increase the relevance of our roadmap such that we can keep it up to date at all times :)

2. Regarding localization for notif. center - While perhaps this is not something we are currently planning on implementing within the next 1-2 months, given that it gets many upvotes and we see increase demand - we can look into getting to working on it later in the year, based on demand.
