At the moment full patches are selected by the selection query, to be annotated by the oracle. However, this might not be optimal if the selected patch is uncertain only on a small part of the image.
Instead of loosing time by annotating an entire patch while only a small part of it is highly uncertain, we could ask for annotation only on the small uncertain region of the patch.
This feature could take multiple forms:
- Easy implementation: We could integrate a parameter to customize the size of the patches (reduce the size of the patches?)
- Combine manual annotation by oracle and "auto-annotation": take the highly confident predictions as labels.
