AI Assistant hangs indefinitely for my account (others respond in seconds) #22863
Description
When I use the n8n AI Assistant (the “Ask Assistant” button in node output / assistant panel), it consistently takes an extremely long time and never returns a response. Friends using the same tool get responses within seconds, so this seems account- or workspace-specific.
Environment:
n8n version: 1.108.1 (Cloud) (from UI “Other info”)
Browser: [Chrome]
OS: [Windows ]
Workspace/Instance: n8n Cloud
Expected behavior:
Assistant returns a response within a few seconds.
Actual behavior:
Assistant shows loading/spinner for a very long time and never returns a response. No visible error message.

100% for me
Comparative info:
Other users I’ve spoken with get responses in seconds during the same time window, suggesting it’s not a general outage.
