"Confirm my email" Link Opens Error Message Page

Potential Repro Steps:

1. As a new user (incognito), become an interested participant:
   a. Click the "YES! I MIGHT ATTEND." button
   b. Populate the Name, Email, and Password fields
   c. Click the "CREATE ACCOUNT" button
2. Click the "Welcome ${Name you entered in 1b}" link
3. Click the "EDIT YOUR PROFILE" link
4. Modify the value displayed beneath "Your name*"
5. Click the "UPDATE PROFILE" button
6. Note: at this point, I had not received any email to confirm my email
7. Click the "?" link to send a "Confirm your email for Minnebar" email
8. Click the "Confirm my email" link in the email body

This same bug is/was affecting me today. I had the email resent this morning after logging in, and the same result as pictured by @sps-strohmyer .

I go this error in two scenarios:

Scenario 1 was clicking the email link a day after receiving it. Maybe it expired?

Scenario 2 was clicking the 'send confirmation' link banner message after logging in. I didn't get the email for a couple minutes so I clicked the link again. When I received the first email and clicked the link, I got the error. Later I got another link and it worked.

Maybe it's to do with the link expiring and the error message just needs an update?
