@ericgl did you install fresh or upgrade to KB5065789? After update the icon is available only when launching edit as administrator. As user there's no icon:

Well, I am an administartor on my computer. Not sure what you'll see as a regular user. The file "edit.exe" is located in a rather strange place:

1.2.1 is available (#491), it was just never tagged as such. The only difference to 1.2.0 is the app icon. |

Ms Edit version 1.2.1 is already available on Win11 25H2.
Even has an icon now.
